Private Interest Foundation


In June of 1995 The Legislative Assembly of Panama approved  Law NBA 25.  This Law regulated Private Interest Foundations.   It is a mix between Liechtenstein Anstalt Law and Panama Trust Law of 1984.

 

Panama & Private Interest Foundation is one of the most useful estate planning and asset protection tools available today.  In order to make your assets legally separated from you, the Panama & Private Interest Foundation will be the holding unit of your structure; through the Foundation you will be available to accomplish this.  Then you will have protection from taxation and from your creditors.   Instead of holding the corporation’s shares in their personal name or in bearer form, they establish a Panama Private Interest Foundation that owns the shares of their foreign corporation(s).   The only objective is to remove ownership from their personal name, to the name of a foreign entity whose ownership is anonymous.
